Project: Create 60-Second Video with Full Audio Mix

Build a complete audio landscape with:

• Background music
• Dialogue or voiceover
• Sound effects at key moments

Exercise 1: Import All Audio

1. Generate or import background music (60s)
2. Generate or import voiceover
3. Generate 3-5 sound effects
4. Place each on separate audio tracks

Exercise 2: Volume Balancing

Set relative levels:

Dialogue/Voiceover (A1):

• Volume: 0dB (full, clear)
• This is your baseline

Background Music (A2):

• Volume: -25dB
• Should be subtle, not competing with voice

Sound Effects (A3):

• Volume: -5dB to 0dB depending on effect
• Prominent but not overpowering

Exercise 3: Waveform Navigation

Use waveforms to:

1. Find dialogue peaks visually
2. Identify silence for music-only moments
3. Spot audio clipping (too loud)
4. Align sounds to visual actions

Exercise 4: Audio Ducking

Lower music when dialogue plays:

1. Add keyframes to music track
2. Lower volume during dialogue
3. Raise volume during music-only moments
4. Creates professional, intelligible mix

Exercise 5: Final Mix Review

Play through entire video:

• Can you hear all dialogue clearly?
• Is music present but not distracting?
• Do sound effects accent moments effectively?
• Is overall mix balanced?

Adjust until perfect.

• Dialogue is king: Always clearly audible
• Music is background: Supports, doesn't compete
• Effects accent: Enhance specific moments
• No clipping: Keep levels below 0dB
