Exercise 1: Gather References

Generate or upload 8-10 reference images:

  • Style inspiration
  • Color palette examples
  • Texture references
  • Typography examples
  • Product or subject matter

Exercise 2: Layout Strategy

Switch to Canvas mode and plan:

  1. Large hero image (top-left)
  2. Supporting images (arranged grid)
  3. Color swatches (small, organized)
  4. Text labels (mood descriptors)

Exercise 3: Build the Board

  1. Drag images onto canvas
  2. Resize hero to ~40% of width
  3. Arrange others in balanced composition
  4. Add text labels: "Modern", "Minimal", "Warm"
  5. Include color codes if relevant

  • Align elements using toolbar
  • Consistent spacing between items
  • Lock background elements
  • Add title text at top
