Using the Regenerate Feature

Click regenerate on any asset to preserve original settings. Learn how to modify prompts for variations and compare outputs.

Introduction

The Regenerate feature lets you create variations of any generated asset. All original settings (prompt, model, aspect ratio, references) are preserved, so you can make small adjustments and try again.

How Regenerate Works

  1. Find any generated image or video
  2. Click the Regenerate button
  3. Original prompt and settings appear in QueryBar
  4. Modify the prompt (or keep it the same for variation)
  5. Click Generate again

Original settings preserved:

  • AI model used
  • Aspect ratio
  • Duration (for video)
  • Reference images
  • All other settings

When to Use Regenerate

Almost perfect:

  • Image is 90% there, needs small adjustment
  • "Same but with warmer lighting"
  • "Keep everything but change background color"

Explore variations:

  • Generate multiple versions of same concept
  • Try different angles or compositions
  • Test alternative colors or styles

Build on success:

  • Use successful generation as starting point
  • Make incremental improvements
  • Create variations for comparison

Modifying Prompts

Add Details

Original: "Modern living room" Regenerate with: "Modern living room with gray sofa and natural light"

Change One Element

Original: "Product on white background" Regenerate with: "Product on marble surface"

Adjust Style

Original: "Professional product photo" Regenerate with: "Professional product photo, warmer lighting, softer shadows"

Creating Variation Sets

Generate multiple variations to compare:

  1. Generate initial image
  2. Regenerate with slight modification
  3. Regenerate again with different modification
  4. Compare all versions
  5. Choose the best or refine further

Example workflow:

  • Gen 1: "Living room, modern style"
  • Gen 2: Regenerate → "Living room, modern style, darker walls"
  • Gen 3: Regenerate → "Living room, modern style, more plants"
  • Compare and choose favorite

Tips for Effective Regeneration

  • Small changes: Modify one thing at a time to see its impact
  • Keep what works: Don't change the entire prompt
  • Use for exploration: Try variations without starting over
  • Compare results: Generate multiple, pick the best
  • Build iteratively: Each regeneration gets you closer to perfect

💡 Variation Strategy: Generate x4 at once, pick the best, then regenerate that one with refinements. This gives you options without guessing.
