Introduction
Flik supports team collaboration, allowing multiple people to work on the same project. This guide covers inviting team members, managing permissions, and collaborating effectively.
Inviting Team Members
- Open Project Settings (top-right menu)
- Click "Share" or "Invite Team"
- Enter email addresses
- Set permission level (Viewer, Editor, Admin)
- Send invites
Permission Levels
Viewer:
- Can see all files
- Cannot edit or create files
- Cannot invite others
- Good for: Clients, stakeholders
Editor:
- Can create and edit files
- Can generate content
- Can organize files
- Cannot manage team or project settings
- Good for: Team members, collaborators
Admin:
- Full project control
- Can invite/remove team members
- Can change project settings
- Can delete project
- Good for: Project owners, leads
Simultaneous Editing
Files show who's viewing:
- Small avatar indicator on open files
- Real-time updates when others make changes
- Automatic conflict resolution
Best practices:
- Communicate which files you're editing
- Use different folders/sections to avoid conflicts
- Review changes before overwriting
Feedback Workflows
Method 1: Comments (if available)
- Click file → Add comment
- Tag team members
- Thread conversations
Method 2: AI Chat
- All team members see chat history
- Use chat for feedback and requests
- AI can incorporate team feedback
Method 3: Favorites
- Mark approved assets as favorites
- Team sees favorited selects
- Clear signal of what's approved
Sharing Assets
Within project:
- All files automatically shared with team
- Real-time sync
- Everyone sees latest versions
External sharing:
- Export files to share outside Flik
- Generate share links (if available)
- Download and send via email/Slack
