Introduction
Video generation creates moving images from text prompts or reference images. Flik offers multiple video models, each optimized for different use cases, durations, and quality levels.
Available Video Models
- Veo 3.1: Premium quality, 4-8 seconds
- Seedance 1.0: Flexible duration, 2-12 seconds
- Hailuo 2.3: Auto settings, simple generation
- Kling 2.6: Fast iteration, 5-10 seconds
Basic Video Generation
- Switch to Generate mode
- Select a video model from dropdown
- Set duration (models have different ranges)
- Choose aspect ratio
- Write your prompt
- Click Generate
Example prompt:
"Camera push forward through neon-lit cyberpunk street at night, rain reflections, cinematic"
Using Start and End Frames
Control motion by providing first and last frames:
Start Frame: Upload or generate the first frame End Frame: Upload or generate the last frame
The AI creates motion between them.
Example:
- Start: Character standing
- End: Character sitting
- Result: Smooth transition animation
Duration Settings
Different models support different durations:
- Veo 3.1: 4s, 6s, or 8s
- Seedance 1.0: 2s to 12s (flexible)
- Hailuo 2.3: Auto duration
- Kling 2.6: 5s or 10s
Choose based on:
- What you're creating (5s for most shots)
- Model capabilities
- Credit cost (longer = more credits)
Motion Control
Camera movement prompts:
- "Camera pushes forward..."
- "Camera circles around..."
- "Camera tilts up to reveal..."
- "Slow zoom out..."
Subject movement:
- "Person walks toward camera..."
- "Object rotates slowly..."
- "Liquid pours into glass..."
Tips for Better Videos
- Be specific about motion: Describe exactly what moves and how
- Use start/end frames: For precise control of motion
- Keep it simple: Complex motions are harder to generate
- Iterate: Generate, review, refine prompt, regenerate
- Consider duration: Shorter videos (4-6s) often work better
💡 Start with Images: Generate the perfect first frame as an image, then use it as a start frame for video. This gives you more control over the final result.
